Community First Health Plans

Community First Health Plans (CFHP) is a local non-profit healthcare plan provider offering a variety of B2B and B2C healthcare services in San Antonio and surrounding counties. As their agency of record, we were tasked with rebuilding their digital presence to meet HHSC compliance, improve visibility in Medicaid directories, and manage their media strategy through a major rebranding initiative.

My Approach & Contributions

We kicked off the project with a comprehensive audit of CFHP’s existing digital infrastructure and UX. Collaborating closely with their internal teams, I helped guide the creation of a more accessible, user-friendly website tailored to members and providers. My role included leading the site architecture strategy, evaluating ADA and HHSC requirements, and coordinating across development and content teams to ensure compliance. Once the website was successfully launched, I developed and executed their paid media strategy and to support their 25th anniversary brand campaign.

Key contributions:

  • Improved user journeys for members, providers, and Medicaid applicants

  • Built a scalable knowledge base to support ongoing updates and documentation

  • Introduced branded style guidelines for digital assets and social media

  • Led tag and analytics integration to support full attribution tracking. Worked with inhouse marketing department to develop visual dashboards which allowed teams to report on pipeline performance to key stakeholders.

The Results

Following the launch of the redesigned website and integrated media campaigns, CFHP experienced significant improvements in engagement, visibility, and local authority. The enhanced UX, targeted paid media, and SEO architecture not only increased user activity but also helped secure a top-ranking position in the Texas Health and Human Services provider directory. These results directly supported CFHP’s mission to better serve their community and strengthened their standing in the regional healthcare landscape.

  • 37% YoY growth in total website users

  • 36% YoY increase in session volume

  • Google Display: 29.3M impressions, 166K clicks, 0.57% CTR

  • Google Pre-roll: 6M impressions, 14.4K clicks, 15% view rate
